Description

This unusual and collectable stamp case in the form of a satchel was made by the prolific Boots Pure Drug Company. Engraved to the front and the back with ivy leaves. The front cover opens and snaps shut. The interior with pale gilt wash. The top fitted with a suspension loop.
Hallmarks:
BPDC for Boots Pure Drug Company
Chester assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "d" for 1904.
Condition:
Very good condition.
Good clear hallmarks.
