Description
This fabulous silver and dual coloured enamelled silver and glass inkwell was made by the prolific Levi & Salaman and is dated Birmingham 1908. The hinged silver lid mounted on a square glass base. The cover inset with a rich turquoise engine-turned guilloche enamel background and surrounded by an elegant silver rimmed white border. The glass exquisitely etched with ribbon-tied swags.An exquisite and rather rare piece in wonderful condition.

Lion Passant .
Date letter "i" for 1908.
Condition:
The glass is in very good condition, no chips, no crack.
The enamel is in pristine condition.
The silver lid is in very good condition.
The hinge is good and strong.
