Description
This exquisite novelty Edwardian silver stamp case was made in 1904 by the Birmingham silversmiths Sydney & Co. It is modelled as a book and the swivel cover is engraved and enamelled with the lettering "stamps"The sides with reeded decorations to emulate the pages of a book. The spine fitted with a suspension loop.
The plain back is fully hallmarked.
Gilt interior.

Date letter "e" for 1904.
