Description

This is a very distinctive Victorian solid silver Bachelor teapot made by the renowned John Aldwinckle & James Slater. Of squat circular form with a fluted lower section and a flush hinged cover. The wood handle with elegant carved thumb piece. The base raised on four ball feet. It has an excellent silver gauge and feels satisfyingly. This is an unusual teapot with a very appealing design.

Date letter "E" for 1880.
