Description
This Edwardian silver glazed single stamp box was made by the prolific Edward Souter Barnsley and is dated Birmingham 1903. The glazed lid encasing an original stamp. The silver frame simple and elegant. The box and hinged cover lined with green leather.Hallmarks:
E.S.B for E S Barnsley & Co (Edward Souter Barnsley)
Date letter "d" for 1903.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
