Description
This is a very pretty silver and pique tortoiseshell compact or pill box. Hallmarked for London 1910. The tortoiseshell hinged cover intricately inlaid with ribbon-tied garlands surrounding a vacant cartouche. The solid silver circular base with gilt interior. The inner lid with original mirror.Hallmarks:
Maker's marks erased.
London Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "k" for 1925.
Condition:
Very good.
Tortoiseshell in good glossy condition.
Silver base in very good condition, no dents.
Maker's marks erased, reflected in the price.
