Description

This delightful Edwardian silver and cut glass vanity jar is dated Birmingham 1903 and was made by the prolific Thomas Hayes. Of rectangular form, the body fitted with an embossed silver lid. The lid with pinched borders and a vacant cartouche. The inner lid gilt.
Fitted on A hobnail cut glass base.
Hallmarks:
T.H for Thomas Hayes.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "d" for 1903.

Good
The silver lid is in good condition with no holes
The glass in good condition with no chips or cracks.
