Description
This fabulous silver and pale oyster blue guilloche enamel compact was made in Birmingham 1950 and bears the marks of Crisford & Norris. Of canted squarel form, the sunburst enamel front graduating from a pale blue to an iridescent oyster coloured enamel within a rope-twist border. The hinged lid opening to reveal the original mirror and gauze disc.The front with dual thumb piece. The sterling silver back with engine-turned decorations.
It is a stunning example and a rare colour.
