This fabulous silver and dual coloured enamelled silver capstan inkwell was made by the prolific Levi & Salaman and is dated Birmingham 1908. The hinged silver lid mounted on a spread circular base. The cover inset with a rich turquoise engine-turned guilloche enamel background and surrounded by an elegant silver rimmed white border. Of traditional Capstan form, it is both elegant and striking.

This superb and very rare 19th Century French enamelled glass casket is a real show stopper measuring an impressive 11.5 inches long. It was most probably originally a glove box, given the generous dimensions. The bevelled rectangular body a rich turquoise colour. The brass bound hinged domed glass lid beautifully decorated with white enamel floral sprays. Shown in image 2 with a coffee can to illustrate the generous proportions of the casket.
