This is an exquisite Georgian cut glass condiment bottle. Of baluster form with notch-cut decorations and mounted on a square lemon squeezer foot. The spouted neck with original stopper. Sold with a delightful and rather rare Georgian silver "Anchovy" sauce label hallmarked for Birmingham 1814 and bearing the marks of Matthew Linwood. The label is fully hallmarked, which is a bonus, as it is not often the case for such small Georgian items.

This unusual Victorian silver mounted glass spirit flask has elaborate wicker work covered shoulders. Made by Thomas Johnson II of Spencer Street, Clerkenwell and dated London 1867, It is fitted with a cork lined screw cap and silver sleeve. The sleeve was probably removable at some point but is now fixed to the body. The flask is perfectly useable with no leaks so the glass appears to be in good condition. The glass thread on the neck is a little worn but the lid closes nonetheless.
The lid engraved with an interesting Armorial crest.
