This elegant Victorian green leather cigarette box is mounted with silver corners and silver lettering. It is dated London 1891 and bears the marks of George Henry James of Newgate Street, London, manufacturers of fancy leather goods. The beautiful green leather is applied with the word "Cigarettes" in silver letters. Each stylised corner fully hallmarked.
The front clasp is fully functioning.
The interior with the retailers ,marks of J.C. Vickery & Hobbs, of 183 Regent Street in London.

London Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "P" for 1891.
Condition:
Leather in super condition.
Silver corners in equally good condition.
Clean interior.
