This beautiful Victorian silver christening mug is hallmarked for Sheffield 1884 and bears the marks of the Fenton Brothers. Of tapered form, embossed in the Gothic style with unusual strap-work patterns under a fine beaded border. It has a distinctive angular leaf-capped handle and boasts it original pale gilt interior.

The hinged lid engraved with the words "Vinaigrette". Opening to reveal a gilt grille pierced with hearts and stars and a inner gilt interior.
