The exquisite dark lilac enamel pull-off lid with a delicate white enamel border. Fitted on a sliced-cut crystal glass body exquisitely etched with floral garlands. The glass with a silver gilt thread, a testament to the quality of the piece. The gilt lid border impressed with French hallmarks. The base star incised.

This is a rare and very collectable Victorian silver & Macintyre porcelain egg scent bottle. The hallmarked screw-top domed silver lid fitted on an egg-shaped speckled porcelain body in a delicate duck egg blue colour. The base hand-painted with the registration number 20772. The inner lid with original cork. Macintyre speckled egg scent bottles are hard to come by and are therefore very desirable and collectable.
