Description
This is a rare and rather stylish Edwardian sterling silver photograph frame. Antique landscape silver photograph frames are few and far between and this is a superb example by a renowned silversmith. Dated London 1902, it bears the marks of the sought-after silversmith William Comyns. Of rectangular form, with a spot-hammered finish, in the Arts & Craft manner. The shape of the easel allowing the frame to be displayed either as a landscape or a portrait frame. Blue velvet back and easel.Hallmarks:

Lion Passant.
London Assay Mark.
Date letter "g" for 1902.
