This is a delightful egg-shaped mother of pearl thimble case housing a sterling silver thimble. The hinged lid with a thumb-piece opening to reveal the original interior fitted with a satin ruched fabric. So often, the interior of these holders are missing and this is a beautiful complete example. The silver thimble is marked sterling. The top fitted with a suspension chainDimensions:
