Description

This delightful Victorian sterling silver thimble is dated London 1898 and bears the marks of Samuel Foskett, thimble maker, Clerkenwell, London. The lower section of the thimble with exquisite foliate shaped patterns. It is fully hallmarked and fits snuggly in its original leather case lined with velvet and satin.
Hallmarks:
SF for Samuel Foskett.
Lion Passant.
London Assay Mark.
Date letter "c" for 1898.
