Description

This fabulous and rare Edwardian silver mounted dual colour guilloche enamel jewellery box is dated Chester 1908 and was made by Charles Edwin Turner. Of oval form, the cover with a vivid blue engine-turned guilloche enamel background and surrounded by an elegant silver rimmed white border. The hinged cover opening to reveal a gilt interior. Raised on four elegant cabriole legs. The base solid silver and fully hallmarked.

C.E.T for Charles Edwin Turner.
Chester Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "H" for 1908.
Condition:
Very good.
Enamel in excellent shiny condition.
Strong hinge.
Sits evenly on flat surface.
Bright gilt interior.
