Description
This exquisite French ormolu gilt and bevelled glass trinket box dates circa 1890. The rounded rectangular velvet covered sides mounted with a hinged ormulu lid inset with a bevelled glass panel. The interior fitted with the original turquoise silk cushion. The base raised on four delightful ormulu baluster feet.Dimensions:
Length: 6cm / 2.3 inches.
Depth: 5cm / 2 inches.
Height: 2.5cm / 1 inch.
Condition:
Glass in very good condition.
Good hinge.
Velvet sides in good condition, a little faded but nor worn.
Cushion in very good condition.
