Description

This unusual and very tactile Arts & Crafts silver vesta case is dated Birmingham 1906 and was made by J. B.Bennet. Of discoidal form, the slim body with a spot-hammered finish on both sides. The front with vacant roundeL. The inner lid retaining its rich gilt wash. The base with textured striker.
Hallmarks:
J.B.B for J. B Bennet.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "g" for 1906.

Condition:
