Description
This unusual and elegant 7 inches Art Deco silver and shagreen handled letter opener was made by the renowned Mappin & Webb and is dated Birmingham 1928. The stel blade mounted with a silver handle. The front of the handle inset with a beautiful jade green shagreen. A very elegant and timeless piece.Hallmarks:
M&W for Mappin & Webb.

Lion Passant.
Date letters "C" for 1928.
