Description
This is a very pretty small-sizedVictorian silver mounted amethyst glass scent bottle. The body sliced-cut with panels. Mounted with a silver screw top lid embossed with a decorative flower head and scrolls. The inner lid with original cork.Hallmarks:
Not hallmarked, as it very often was the case with scent bottle lids, but tested as silver.
Dimensions:
Height: 5.5cm / 1.4 inches.
Diameter at widest: 2.5cm / 0.6 inches.
Condition:
Very good.
Glass in the inner neck in good condition, no cracks.
No holes to the silver lid but a little uneven at places.
Glass in very good condition.
