Description
This superb and rather rare silver pot pourri box was made by the celebrated Samuel Jacobs and is dated London 1896. Pot pourri boxes are very sought-after and this cast silver lidded example is beautiful. Of unusual triangular form, the hinged silver lid cast and pierced with putti amongst fruiting vines.The sides embossed with a beautiful flower head garland. Solid silver base.
