Description

This delightful George III silver gilt leaf caddy spoon was made by the very collectable London based female silversmith Elizabeth Morley. The veined gilt leaf-shaped bowl finely engraved. Leaf-shape caddy spoons are very collectable and rather rare and this is a wonderful example.
Hallmarks:
Duty mark.
EM for Elizabeth Morley.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "A" for 1796.
