This is a delightful 19th Century egg-shaped mother of pearl miniature basket raised on a pedestal base and having an ormulu handle. The oval-shaped mother of pearl receptacle resting on a pierced petal-shaped pedestal and housing a silver thimble. The silver thimble hallmarked for the collectable Charles Horner.Hallmarks:
Partially hallmarked.
C.H for Charles Horner.
Tested as silver.
