Description

This exquisite Victorian silver mounted pink hobnail-cut glass scent bottle was made by the Mousley Brothers and is dated Birmingham 1898. The hinged embossed silver lid mounted on a tactile sliced-cut glass body. The colour a rather striking pink. The fully hallmarked hinged lid opening to reveal the original glass stopper.
Hallmarks:
M BROS for the Mousley Brothers.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Date letter "y" for 1898.
Lion passant.
Dimensions:
Height: 6.5cm - 2.6 inches.
Width at widest: 5 cm - 2 inches.
Depth: 2.5 cm - 1 inch.
Condition:
Very good.
No dings to silver lid.
Glass body, glass neck and glass stopper in perfect condition.
Lid a little tight fitting.
A fabulous scent bottle.
