Description
This unusual and elegant small Art Deco silver and shagreen handled magnifying glass was made by the renowned Mappin & Webb and is dated Birmingham 1928. The shagreen handle mounted with a 5cm diameter steel mount inset with magnifying glass. The front of the handle inset with a beautiful jade green shagreen. The back plain silver. A very elegant and timeless piece.Hallmarks:
M&W for Mappin & Webb.
Birmigham Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letters "C" for 1928.
