Description
This exquisite solid silver purse was made in Chester 1912 by The Boots Pure Drug Company. Of conventional form, both sides with scroll decorations. The clasp opening to reveal the original green moire silk interior. The interior divided in three compartments. The sides fitted with a chain and suspension ring to allow a lady to hold her purse while holding her cocktail glass.Hallmarks:

Chester Assay Mark.
Date letter 'M' for 1912.
Lion Passant.
