Description

This charming and unusual Edwardian silver tea caddy is dated Birmingham 1902 and bears the marks of Marples and Co. It is a very tactile piece with its organic oblong shape and slightly domed hinged cover. The cover with an elgant gadroon border and drop-ring handle, the base raised o four scroll-capped trefoil feet. The interior with original pale gilt wash. A gorgeous and unusual tea caddy.

Date letter "c" for 1902.
