Description
This good quality, four-slices, solid silver toast rack is dated Chester 1895 and bears the marks of the renowned Nathan & Hayes. The rectangular base with five arched wire-loop divisions and raised on four ball feet. The central bar surmounted by a ring handle. The design is simple and elegant.Hallmarks:
N&H for Nathan & Hayes.
Chester Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "M" for 1895.
