Description
This unusual and elegant 7.5 inches Art Deco silver and shagreen handled letter opener was made by the Barker Brothers and is dated Birmingham 1932. The hallmarked sterling silver blade mounted with a silver handle. The front of the handle inset with green shagreen. The ferrule with scroll decorations, the back plain. A very elegant and timeless piece.Hallmarks:

Blade in very good condition.
Shagreen inset in very good glossy condition.
