Description
This exquisite silver pin cushion modelled as a basket was made circa 1800. These early pin cushions are quite scarce hence very desirable. The filigree work is very delicate and the basket is fitted with a rope-twist articulated handle. The base with conforming decorations. The green velvet cushion, later replaced, is most probably Victorian.Hallmarks:
Unmarked as was always the case with filigree work.
