Description

This is a very desirable solid silver decanter label: it is Georgian, it was made by a very sough-after female silversmith and is incised "Burgundy", a scarce denomination. It has a conventional rectangular form with canted corner and reeded borders. Suspended by a short link chain.
Hallmarks:
Duty Mark.
Lion Passant.
E.M for Elizabeth Morley
Date letter "O" for 1809.
