Description
This is an exquisite Victorian cut and etched glass mixing bowl for tea. It would originally have been fitted in the central part of a tea caddy and used to mix tea leaves. The middle band is etched with fruiting branches within two sliced-cut bands. It has a fine polished notch cut rim and smooth pontil to the underside. These are rather rather and are lovely as a stand alone piece or to use in a wooden tea caddy.

Diameter of rim: 9 cm / 3.6 inches.
Diameter of foot: 5.5cm / 2 inches.
Condition:
Excellent.
