Description

This is an exquisite Georgian cut glass condiment bottle. Of baluster form with notch-cut decorations and mounted on a square lemon squeezer foot. The spouted neck with original stopper. Sold with a delightful and rather rare Georgian silver "Anchovy" sauce label hallmarked for Birmingham 1814 and bearing the marks of Matthew Linwood. The label is fully hallmarked, which is a bonus, as it is not often the case for such small Georgian items.

Date letter "q" for 1814.
