Description
This delightful and rather unusual 19th Century silver filigree calling card case was made circa 1880. Of rectangular form, with lobed borders, the front and back with silver filigree geometric and curvilinear floral forms and heightened with silver cabochons.Hinged cover and initialled cartouche to the front.
Hallmarks:
Unmarked as per usual with filigree objects but tested as silver.

Height: 10cm / 4 inches
Width: 6.5cm / 2.6 inches.
Condition:
Very good.
One minor losses to the filigree on the back commensurate with age.
Good hinge.
