Description

These delightful and very unusual George V silver bonbon dishes were made by the renowned Mappin & Webb and are dated Birmingham 1913. Of lobed circular form, the sides with alternated pierced panels. The petal-shaped rims with a delicate beaded border. The solid silver bases raised on four leaf-capped claw feet. The dishes fitted with beautiful amethyst glass liners.
Hallmarks:
M&W for Mappin & Webb.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "o" for 1913.
Condition:
Excellent.
No dings, no dents on silver.
Good set of marks.
Glass liners in excellent condition.
