Description
This exquisite Art Deco silver and powder blue guilloche enamel jar is dated Birmingham 1930 and was made by W G Sothers Ltd. The scalloped guilloche enamel lid fitted on a clear crystal glass body wheel-engraved with ribbon-tied floral garlands.The base with smooth pontil mark.
Then inner lid with a pale gilt wash.
Hallmarks:
W.G.S LTD for W G Sothers Ltd.
Lion passant.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "F" for 1930.
Condition:
Very good.
Enamel lid in very good condition.
Glass in excellent condition. No chips or cracks.
