Description

This is a rare and fabulous George III mallet-shaped decanter. The clear glass body with three applied annular rings below a flat-topped, round-edged lip and rim. The front heightened with a gilt label and chain decorated with the word Brandy in elegant script letters. The base with a snapped pontil mark. Fitted with the original penny drop stopper. The stopper still retaining the original gilt letter "B" for Brandy, a rare occurence. Shown on the last image with the matching Hollands decanter, sold separately.
Dimensions:
Height: 23cm / 9 inches.
Diameter at widest: 10cm / 4 inches.
Condition:
Very good.
No chips, no cracks.
Gilt decorations in very good order.
Minor bubble inclusions to the body.
