This stunning silver mounted and pique tortoiseshell jewellery box was made by Boardman, Glossop & Co Ltd and is dated Birmingham 1906. Of oval form, The silver mounted tortoiseshell cover decorated with an exquisite ribbon-tied garland surrounded by a raised bluebell border . The plain base raised on four cabriole legs. The hinged lid opening to reveal teh original green satin and velvet interior.
Black Morocco on the underside.

This exquisite and unusual Georgian silver patch box dates circa 1790. Of circular form, the pull-off cover with intricate filigree decorations surrounding a vacant roundel. The sides with filigree decorations and the back plain. It is unmarked as was very common in the Georgian era with small items of vertu.
