Description
This exquisite silver and turquoise guilloche enamel rouge pot is dated Birmingham 1910 and was made by the prolific Levi & Salaman. The vivid turquoise guilloche enamel lid with an elegant white enamel banding. The inner lid a pale gilt. Fitted on a hobnail-cut crystal glass body. The base star-cut. A delightful little rouge pot.Hallmarks:
L&S for Levi & Salaman.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "l" for 1910.
Condition:
Good.
Enamel lid in good condition.
Minor uneveness to the sides.
Glass in perfect condition. No chips or cracks.
