Description
This delightful and rater rare silver and hardstone "trowel" bookmark is dated Birmingham 18999 and bears the marks of the renowned Crisford & Norris. The engraved silver ferrule inset with a banded agate handle. The blade fully hallmarked. it is a good useable size.Hallmarks:
C&N for Crisford & Norris
Birmingham Assay mark.
Date letter "z" for 1899.
Lion passant (Partially obstructed by handle)
