This delightful and unusual Edwardian silver duck pin cushion bears the marks of Sydney & Co and is dated Birmingham 1908. The body with detailed plumage rests on a circular base. The eyes inset with turquoise cabochons, a rare and exquisite detail. The original cushion finished in teal velvet. The underside with green Morocco leather.

This delightful silver "hatching chick" pin cushion was designed by the highly collectable Sampson Mordan & Co and is fully hallmarked for Chester 1909. The pin cushion is designed as a newly hatched chick sitting in half an egg shell. It is beautifully detailed, with the chick's back being the cushion, which is finished in pink velvet. The chick is 'weighted' in such a way that, should it be knocked over, it will 'right' itself.

This exquisite and very unusual Georgian silver thimble/ tape measure combination dates circa 1800. The thimble with drum-shaped filigree body surrounding a vacant cartouche. The base of the thimble screwing onto the conforming drum-shaped tape measure. The tape measure with domed winder and suspension loop. Retaining its original silk tape. The tape starting at 4 inches (it incurred a little loss in the last 225 years!)
